Jump To: Tonight's TV Schedule
Heading into the final stretch of the 2018 Winter Olympics, there is still plenty of action to be seen.
In fact, tonight will be one of the biggest evenings yet as weather delays pushed several high-profile events to be rescheduled for Wednesday night.
From Team USA taking on arch rivals Canada to Lindsey Vonn passing the torch to the Mikaela Shriffin, there is much to look forward to for Day 13 of Olympics. Here is a quick breakdown of what to watch tonight in PyeongChang:
Women’s Big Air
After seeing big tricks in qualifying, the first medals in big air snowboarding will be awarded Wednesday night. There are three Americans in the event, with Julia Marino currently an even bet. Austria’s Anna Gasser performed the best in qualifying and is the odds-on favorite to win the women’s big air event with -225 betting odds. Team USA’s Jamie Anderson is chasing her third medal in the Olympics, and has +800 Olympic betting odds to win gold in big air.
- Final runs scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Eastern
Men’s Slalom
Heading into the event, Austria’s Marcel Hirscher is the odds-on favorite to win the men’s slalom with -225 betting odds. Hirscher already has gold in the giant salmon and alpine combined, but there’s no telling what will happen in the Games. Norway’s Henrik Kristoffersen has +275 odds and is expected to be somewhere beside Hirscher on the podium, but Americans David Chodounsky, Mark Engel, and Nolan Kasper are also hoping to medal.
- First runs scheduled for 8 p.m. Eastern
Women’s Alpine Combined
American alpine skiers Mikaela Shriffin and Lindsey Vonn will be going head-to-head for the first (and likely last) time. Vonn, 33, earned bronze in the downhill while Shriffin, 22, has a gold medal in the giant slalom. The Alpine Combined will bring a downhill run in the morning followed by a slalom run in the afternoon, which brings together both skiers specialties. At Bovada, Shriffin is the odds-on favorite to win the Alpine Combined with -250 betting odds, while Vonn is farther down the field with +1600.
- Downhill run scheduled for 9:30 p.m. ET
- Slalom run scheduled for 1:00 a.m. ET
Freestyle Skiing
Nevada native David Wise is one of four American skiers in the men’s freestyle skiing halfpipe. The event is largely viewed as one of the best opportunities for a medal sweep by Team USA. Leading the pack for the U.S. on the oddsboard is Aaron Blunck with +250 betting odds to win the men’s ski halfpipe, followed by David Wise with +300 Olympic betting odds. Alex Ferreira also has +300 freestyle skiing odds, and resilient Torin Yater-Wallace has +500 odds to win.
- Final runs scheduled for 9:30 p.m. Eastern
Women’s Hockey
This is one of the most highly-anticipated events of the night, as Team USA hopes to finally win gold versus the Canadian team. Canada has won gold in the event for four-consecutive Winter Olympics since the USA first medaled in 1998. Bookmakers have given Team USA -165 betting odds to win gold in women’s ice hockey, while Canada has +145 for olympic betting odds.
- Scheduled for 11:10 p.m. Eastern
